Job Posting:
E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Assistant (Student Placement)
Hours: ~15-20 hours/week
Compensation: $24/hour
About the Role
This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly on a growing Shopify e-commerce business and contribute to real online sales growth. You will help improve our website, support digital marketing campaigns, and test ideas that impact traffic, conversions, and customer experience.
What You’ll Do
Shopify & Website:
- Add and update product listings
- Write and edit SEO-friendly descriptions
- Upload images and optimize alt-text
- Organize collections and navigation
Digital Marketing:
- Assist with Google Ads and Shopping campaigns
- Support SEO and keyword research
- Monitor performance and suggest improvements
- Track results using analytics tools
Merchandising & Content:
- Build seasonal collections and promotions
- Support homepage updates
- Assist with social media and Canva graphics
What You’ll Gain

Who You Are

- Google Ads or digital marketing campaigns
- SEO or website optimization
- Analytics tools
Eligibility Requirements
Must be eligible under the Magnet Student Work Placement Program:
- Enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program
- Canadian citizen, PR, or protected person
- Returning to studies after the work term
